About the Role

People’s Choice Warranty is seeking a motivated and client focused Junior Dealer Account Manager to support the growth of our business in the Ottawa region. This position will work closely under the guidance of a Senior Dealer Account Manager and is ideal for an emerging sales professional looking to build a career in the automotive protection industry.

This role is based in the Ottawa region and requires regular in-person travel throughout the territory. You will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with franchise and independent automotive dealerships, promoting our extended warranty products and services, and supporting dealer partners through training, account management, and ongoing business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Senior Dealer Account Manager in managing and growing dealership relationships within the Ottawa region.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to dealer partners across the assigned territory.
- Present and explain the features and perks of our automotive aftermarket programs to dealership staff.
- Assist with dealer training, onboarding, and ongoing product support.




- Identify opportunities to strengthen dealer performance and increase product penetration.
- Provide responsive service and follow-up to dealer partners to help build strong long-term relationships.
- Monitor market activity and report on territory developments, opportunities, and competitor trends.
- Contribute to achieving monthly and annual sales objectives for the territory.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in automotive sales, dealership relationship management, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong interest in developing a career in account management and outside sales.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with dealership partners.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage a local travel schedule effectively.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
- Must be located in the Ottawa region.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation required.
- Bonus: French speaking
