About the Position :The Box Office Representative responds to sales inquiries by phone, on-line, mail or in person at the box office in order to maximize single ticket and subscription sales. They are an important part of the overall audience experience at Theatre Aquarius. They enjoy providing patrons with exemplary customer service and strive to make a night out at the theatre enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Process individual ticket sales, subscription sales, exchanges, and group bookings
- Request patron donations in conjunction with single ticket sales
- Conduct outbound sales and follow-up calls as part of season campaigns
- Provide information on events, policies, performance and other enquires from single ticket buyers, subscribers and groups
- Maintain sales database and patron files
- Under the direction of the Box Office Manager, resolve patron complaints and escalate patron issues as required
- Assist with special projects or mailings as required

Required Qualifications : Education & Training :





- Secondary School or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience :

- 6 months to 1 year of experience in sales and customer service

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

- Computer and database literacy is essential
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with minor conflicts while achieving a positive outcome for the patron and the theatre
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Excellent English language speaking skills as well as professional telephone manner

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
