Tauber Music School

Winnipeg

Overview

Tauber Music School is seeking a warm, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as a Studio Host . This is a front-line role where you'll help shape the experience of students, families, and teachers as the first point of contact in our studios.

You’ll handle typical reception and light administrative tasks like taking payments, responding to inquiries, enrolling students, coordinating lesson changes, calling customers, and resolving or escalating issues as required. As our Studio Host, you should feel comfortable interacting with kids and people of all ages, enjoy meeting new people, and feel confident engaging in conversation.

The studio is quiet for much of the shift, so this role requires someone who can create positive energy and set a welcoming tone. Successful Studio Hosts stay visible at the front desk, greet people as they arrive, and proactively engage with students and families rather than staying behind the counter focused on the computer until someone speaks first. If you enjoy being social and can “turn it on” in a friendly, professional way, you will likely thrive in this position.

There are times that will require multitasking while maintaining both a friendly demeanour as well as close attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who can stay engaged and motivated during slower moments and take initiative when things get busy, creating a welcoming and professional environment no matter the tempo.

To help you feel connected to what we do, Studio Hosts who work 24+ hours per week receive free weekly music lessons in the instrument of their choice after successfully completing a short probation period. Other staff discounts are available if you work fewer hours.
