Job Overview Richmond Sports and Fitness is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner (possibly two) to join our team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Clean gym equipment, mirrors, bathrooms, locker areas, and common spaces
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
- Restock supplies and maintain cleaning inventory
- Address maintenance issues or report larger concerns to management
- Follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Contribute to a positive and professional environment for members





Qualifications

- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with basic hand tools or minor maintenance tasks is an asset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift equipment as required
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on attention to detail and quality standards
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Professional and positive attitude
