Lulada Market is a Latin American café, street-food spot, and market in Saskatoon. We serve Latin food, drinks, and products from across the region — including empanadas, arepas, tacos, bowls, coffee, natural juices, and rotating specials. Our brand is built around sharing Latin American culture in a warm, welcoming way, especially with curious locals who may be trying these flavours for the first time.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a full-time Cook to join our kitchen team.

This is a hands-on kitchen role for someone who is reliable, fast, clean, and comfortable working in a busy food environment. We are not hiring for a chef position — we’re looking for a strong cook who can follow recipes, prep efficiently, keep quality consistent, and help our kitchen run smoothly.

Experience with Latin foods is strongly preferred. This could include items like empanadas, arepas, rice, beans, meats, sauces, soups, fried foods, or other Latin American dishes.

Responsibilities :

- Prepare and cook menu items following Lulada recipes and standards
- Assist with prep for daily service, catering, and specials
- Cook proteins, fillings, sauces, rice, beans, fried items, and other components
- Help assemble dishes quickly and consistently during service
- Portion and label food correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times




- Wash dishes and keep kitchen stations organized as needed
- Monitor product levels and communicate low stock items
- Support the team with opening, closing, and general kitchen tasks
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods

Requirements :

- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant, café, or food business
- Prior knowledge of Latin food preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions closely
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, consistency, and organization
- Able to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food Safe certification is an asset
