Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a secure, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. You will assist in meal preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met while fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and development.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner to promote their emotional and social development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring that dietary restrictions are respected.
- Engage children in various activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.




- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment.

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, including skills in serving, cooking, and food handling.
- Kitchen experience is a plus, with knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- A background in working with children or in a daycare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Must have criminal record check, food safety and first aid.

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.93 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
