Maintenance Supervisor

Tantalum Mining Corporation of Canada Limited, owned by Sinomine Resource Group, is a mining and manufacturing operation located at Bernic Lake, approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Lac du Bonnet. Our operation supports the production of rare metals that are essential to modern technologies and future energy systems.

As we continue strengthening our lithium and mineral processing operations, we are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide frontline leadership to maintenance teams and support safe, reliable, and effective site performance.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading daily maintenance activities across assigned areas of the operation to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with site standards. The role provides direct supervision to maintenance personnel, coordinates priorities with operations, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to expected standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily maintenance execution and establish clear priorities based on operational needs
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment required to complete maintenance work effectively
- Supervise maintenance crews and contractors while promoting safe and productive work practices
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety,



environmental, engineering, and maintenance standards
- Support troubleshooting of equipment issues and provide practical direction during breakdowns and planned maintenance
- Participate in scheduling, shutdown planning, and maintenance improvement initiatives
- Monitor work quality, completion standards, and adherence to maintenance procedures
- Assist in identifying capital improvement opportunities and maintenance-related project requirements
- Support workforce development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Maintain clear communication with operations, planning, procurement, and leadership teams

Qualifications :

- Grade 12 diploma required
- Trade certification or technical background considered an asset
- Experience and/or recognized Red Seal certification in Industrial Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Electrician is considered a significant asset
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial, mining, or production environment preferred
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices in heavy industrial equipment environments
- Experience with maintenance planning systems and computerized maintenance software
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams and manage changing priorities effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule :Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hrs per week, Monday-Thursday
