Lead Transport Maintenance
Full Time, 40 Hours / Week $25.00-$30.00/Hour All necessary training will be provided.
Job Description & Specifications Ensure Novid's transportation equipment is in safe working condition and maintained regularly. Provide secondary support to Yard Lead by pulling tanks to stage them in the yard and load tanks to be shipped in a safe and controlled manor. Provide guidance to the Loading/Maintenance position on maintenance related tasks.
Essential Functions & Duties
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on all transportation equipment
- Diagnose mechanical problems on delivery equipment
- Keep all delivery equipment clean and free of debris
- Maintain pre-trip trailer inspection forms
- Keep track of on-going trailer improvement projects
- Keep maintenance shop clean, organized and safe
- Inventory control of maintenance products
- Maintain stock of Novid transport trailer parts
- Assist in SOP creation, implementation, and updating
- Assist in pre-use safety checks at the beginning of each shift for all mobile powered equipment
- Assist in yard organization
Employment requirements :
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma (Trailer Mechanic Schooling Preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands on experience required
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Class 1 License (preferred)
- Strong focus on quality
- Robust work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Demonstrates a positive attitude
- Team player
- Able to lift 50lb
