About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Shop Foreman to lead our team of technicians and oversee daily shop operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a highly skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in efficiency, quality, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop workflow, job dispatching, and technician productivity
- Diagnose complex vehicle issues and support technicians with problem-solving
- Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to industry standards
- Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair plans and timelines
- Monitor and reduce comebacks through quality control and proper procedures
- Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior technicians
- Maintain a protected, clean,
and organized work environment
- Enforce shop policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications :
- Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal preferred)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automotive repair
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a shop environment
- Strong diagnostic skills (electrical, drivability, and modern vehicle systems)
- Experience with scan tools, shop management software, and digital inspections
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and maintain a high-performance culture
Pay: $30.00-$50.74 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- 310S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN LICENSE (required)
