Job Summary

Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage merchandising activities, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales potential.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Handle purchasing decisions and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while controlling costs.
- Conduct budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure financial accuracy and operational compliance.
- Monitor store performance through sales analysis and reporting; adjust strategies accordingly for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive shopping environment by maintaining organizational standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement needs while negotiating favorable terms.

Skills

- Proven leadership experience in retail management or similar supervisory roles with strong team management skills.




- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and sales management strategies.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of marketing techniques, customer service excellence, and retail sales strategies.
- Ability to train staff effectively in sales techniques, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Competence in budgeting, financial analysis, and payroll management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.
