Our Retail Cannabis Assistant Store Manager is a cornerstone in providing a quality shopping experience to our customers. The ASM is responsible for working with staff to manage, maintain day-to-day retail operations at the store location with opportunities to grow with the company.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Assist in hiring skilled employees, supervise and manage team.
- Lead by example by being positive, friendly and knowledgeable.
- Assist in training and coaching team members through the use of our written SOP’s.
- Assist in weekly staff scheduling.
- Submit requiring reporting and inventory counts to maintain Government compliance.
- Perform all daily opening and/or closing procedures.
- Assist in receiving and ensuring that all deliveries are compliant and accurate to invoices.
- Strong ability to work with staff to deal with any circumstances that may arise in retail store environment.
- Will be sales savvy to ensure the business maintains profitability.
- Deliver solid customer service.

Experience and Qualifications

- 2-4 years of management experience.
- Minimum, 3 - 5 years of retail and/or hospitality experience.
- Cannabis, liquor or healthcare experience is preferred




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with process management, team problem solving, inventory control and POS system.
- Have valid or obtain CannSell certification and pass background check.
- Have ability to obtain Cannabis Retail Store Manager license or have valid Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO.
- Working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in Ontario
