This manager supports Commercial Credit by adjudicating primarily CMHC-insured, multi-family mortgages from Business Banking and third-party partnerships. The position delivers accurate, qualified decisions within established service standards, approval authorities, and FirstOntario’s commercial lending framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, recommend, and approve commercial credit applications
- Approve commitment letters, renewals, pre-funding documents, and loan fundings
- Monitor third-party servicing activities and conduct annual partner audits
- Maintain CMHC product and multi-family lending expertise
- Align FirstOntario guidelines and procedures with CMHC requirements
Requirements:
- Business, economics, or related post-secondary education, or equivalent experience
- Five to ten years’ commercial lending experience in financial services
- Three to five years’ real estate credit adjudication experience
- Three to five years’ CMHC-insured multi-family lending experience
- Advanced financial statement analysis and Microsoft Office skills
