Farm & Farmers Market Assistant - Part-Time/Full-Time

About Us : Join Blooming Flower Farm , a family-run farm dedicated to growing beautiful flowers, fresh produce, and creating joyful experiences at farmers markets. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking assistant to help us with daily farm tasks and market sales.

Position : Farm & Market Assistant

Pay : $18/hour, paid weekly

Hours : 30-40 hours/week to start

- Tuesday-Friday: 11 AM - 7 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM (or 7 AM - 3 PM if attending a market)

Responsibilities :

- Maintain and water garden beds, plants, and flowers
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and general farm upkeep
- Set up and take down farmers market tents and displays
- Load/unload and drive a van safely
- Sell flowers and produce directly to customers (cash and card)
- Wrap flowers and help prepare bouquets
- Engage with customers—smile, be friendly, and professional





Requirements :

- Able to drive a van
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry plants and boxes (physical work required)
- Enjoys interacting with customers and animals (dogs and chickens on site)
- Professional, polite, and attentive—no phone distractions while working
- Neat appearance and valuable manners
