Role Description The Shirt Presser is responsible for pressing and finishing shirts and similar garments to a high standard of quality and appearance. Day-to-day tasks include operating pressing equipment, following established procedures for different fabric types, inspecting garments for stains or damage, and ensuring shirts are neatly finished, hung, or folded for customer pickup. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized work area, following safety guidelines,



and coordinating with coworkers to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, requiring consistent attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to operate or learn to operate commercial pressing and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate pressing techniques to avoid damage.
- Good time management and organizational skills to handle high garment volumes and meet daily production goals.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move bundles of garments, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow clear instructions and quality standards.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to consistent full-time on-site work in Toronto, ON.
- Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment pressing is an asset but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
