Role Description

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes in Qbyte for five corporate entities
- Support the CFO in the preparation of quarterly, annual financial statements and MD&A;, including the development and review of supporting working papers
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including capital accounting and AFE tracking, joint venture accounting, marketing and production accounting, revenue and royalty reporting, payroll, and banking activities
- Supervise and develop two direct reports, providing performance management and technical guidance
- Provide leadership and oversight of the Accounts Payable team, including banking administration and regular payment runs
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Canadian regulatory requirements,



and internal controls
- Oversee GST filings, payroll processing, and related statutory remittances
- Support the annual budgeting process, periodic reforecasts, and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and short-term treasury activities
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to provide financial insight and decision support

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting
- Strong Analytical Skills and demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in Finance and budgeting
- Professional qualifications such as CPA designation or equivalent
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the energy or natural resources industry is an asset

Pay: $130,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
