As a Senior Software Engineer Backend, you will design distributed systems for Dominion Dynamics’ mesh networking platform. The work spans networking, security, containers, and autonomous platforms. You will own an AuraNet area or related project while priorities shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Design backend services for ingestion, processing, and real-time distribution
- Build networking for encrypted communication across intermittent links
- Apply authentication, PKI, and encrypted transport
- Deploy containerized services on edge hardware
- Integrate systems with autonomous platforms and simulations
Requirements:
- Senior or Staff-level distributed systems experience
- Solid Python or Rust backend engineering skills
- Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, and publish/subscribe
- Knowledge of encryption, PKI, authentication, and authorization
