Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager/Leader is responsible for managing large-scale, complex, and high-risk projects within OPS I⁢ initiatives. This role ensures project deliverables meet business requirements on time, within scope and budget, while promoting best practices and compliance with OPS methodologies. The position requires strong leadership in coordinating resources, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and communicating effectively with senior executives and stakeholders. Responsibilities:

- Manage two concurrent large-scale, high-profile OPS I⁢ projects ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, integrated plans, and budgets with multiple funding sources.
- Lead organizational development, strategy formulation, business planning, and Ministry funding requests.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and develop comprehensive Business Cases.
- Oversee vendor management including procurement, RFB processes, and contract governance.
- Coordinate project teams, clarify roles and responsibilities, and resolve resource conflicts.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively and communicate issues to senior executives.
- Establish and participate in steering committees and stakeholder forums for project oversight.
- Promote adherence to OPS I⁢ project management standards and best practices.
- Manage and monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial reconciliations.
- Lead change management efforts throughout all project phases to ensure successful adoption.

Required Skills:
- Strong project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in developing and presenting Business Cases using OPS methodologies.
- Extensive vendor management experience including RFB leadership and governance oversight.
- Experience managing large data migration projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.




- Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
- Solid documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of OPS project management frameworks and compliance standards.

Desired Skills:
- Experience procuring and delivering Cloud solutions and data migration to Cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and GO-ITS standards.
- Experience using MS DevOps and MS Teams for project management.
- Public sector or OPS experience is preferred.
- Ability to recommend acquisition of software, hardware, and technology resources.

- Strong communication skills tailored for executive-level interactions.
- Availability to work onsite 5 days per week at specified North York and Jarvis Street locations.
