We’re looking for a 310T or 310J Licensed Technician to join the team that keeps our lineup of specialized heavy haul & rigging equipment moving!

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Performs repairs and assigned preventative maintenance.
- Performs Annual PMCVI inspections and record findings.
- Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics and shop laptops to interpret failure codes and repair.
- Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns when required.
- Completes all required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software associated with repairs and maintenance documenting parts usage and repairs.
- Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company standards.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

WORK CONDITIONS

- Work is performed in an open shop environment and may be exposed to the elements, the noise of machinery and vehicles, fumes, exhaust emissions, engine oils, grease, solvents, chemicals, dust, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, and vibrations.
- Stand or walk on level or uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, reach, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.




- May work above shoulder level with power tools.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position and have the mobility, vision, hearing, and sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed.

REQUIREMENTS

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
- Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
- Valid G driver’s license
- Works under mínimal supervision. May periodically assist in orienting and training lower apprentices or new employees.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Proficient in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repairs.
- Working knowledge of fuel, ignition, cooling, brakes, transmission, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and brake systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices necessary to operate and repair all vehicles and equipment.
- Skill in operating tools, equipment, parts, and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
- Skill in repair of special purpose equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
- Ability to diagnose defects and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment.




- Ability to perform minor and moderately complex mechanical repair on a variety of different vehicles and equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to read schematics.
- Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
- Ability to utilize diagnostic software.
- Knowledge of tire maintenance.
- Ability to complete required paperwork to accurately document repairs completed, utilization of parts and associated repair times.
