OVERVIEW

Our client, a dynamic and growing world leader in the manufacturing, storage and distribution of commercial explosives and technological innovations in the mining, construction, and quarrying industries, is looking for an experienced AZ Driver to join their team.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the AZ Driver will be responsible for safely transporting hazardous materials while ensuring full regulatory compliance, conducting vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, maintaining accurate logs and inventory records, supporting customer deliveries and site operations, and upholding high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure all existing regulations and codes are followed
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking and filling fluid levels
- Ability to manoeuvre on the road and on customer’s property in a sage manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the inside and outside of vehicle
- Maintain valid license and TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification
- Accurately document inventory levels on vehicle and properly complete driver’s electronic logs and delivery paperwork as required




- Proper handling of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations related to transportation and storage
- Perform duties to support site operations and customer deliveries
- Reporting any deficiencies related to vehicle or processing equipment for work orders required

REQUIREMENTS

- Valid AZ License
- 2 years of AZ driving experience
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision with no legal impediments related to job
- Productive, punctual, diligent, reliable and adaptive in supportive team environment
- Valuable customer service abilities and understanding of customer needs and expectations
- Good communication abilities in English, and able to understand and follow company policies, procedures, values and standards
