Job Title: Client Onboarding Specialist
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay Range: C$20 - C$24/hr on T4

Introduction

The role is responsible for managing client onboarding and implementation activities while building strong, long-term client relationships. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual guides commercial clients through the onboarding process, delivers training, manages multiple client engagements, and ensures a positive client experience from implementation through adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong client-facing experience in onboarding, relationship management, account management, project coordination, or customer success.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and develop strong client relationships.
- Highly organized with solid project management and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently.
- Proven ability to deliver a superior client experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Banking, treasury services, cash management, or client onboarding experience.
- Experience managing client implementations or onboarding projects.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities





- Manage end-to-end onboarding and implementation activities for commercial banking clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and delivering a high-quality client experience.
- Lead client meetings, onboarding discussions, training sessions, and status updates.
- Conduct product and system training to ensure clients are confident using solutions.
- Coordinate implementation activities across internal teams and stakeholders to meet client timelines.
- Gather client requirements, manage documentation, and track onboarding progress.
- Proactively communicate with clients, manage expectations, and provide consultative guidance.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate treasury and payment solutions.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure successful adoption of services.
