Overview

Responsibilities

- Safely operate trucks for local deliveries adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- It will require night time driving for the first 4 months.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen issues
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operational readiness

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience driving tankers or tanker trailers.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transporting goods




- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues on trucks
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety checks
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers

This position is integral to our logistics operations, requiring a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Experience :

- Commercial driving: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (required)
