G.T. French, a wholesale distributor of Food Service, Sanitation and Packaging products is currently hiring to fill the position of Retail Outlet Associate in the busy Hamilton operation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include :

- answering customer inquiries
- treating each customer with respect
- handling cash accurately
- processing orders accurately
- picking orders
- stocking shelves
- cleaning store

Physical Requirements :

- able to lift up to 50 lb. on a regular basis
- able to stand on his/her feet for long periods of time during each shift
- able to withstand considerable amounts of walking, reaching, lifting and bending

Setting :

- can be dusty - exposed to warehouse storage area
- dim lighting in warehouse
- varying temperatures depending on season (time spent outside assisting customers to their vehicles with purchases)

Schedule Requirements :

- approx 40-46 hours per week
- must be available to work Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- must be available to work Saturday 9:00am-3:30pm (rotating shift)
- employees will work 5 days one week and 6 days the following,



or 2 weeks straight of 6 days - depending on the schedule
- employees will be given a work schedule in advance
- work schedule may change from time to time
- required to be at work 15 minutes prior to the start of each shift, and understand the end of shift time could vary depending on when customers have exited the store and end of day tasks have been completed
