Job Summary

Duties

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking orders accurately using order picker equipment and packing items securely for delivery.
- Load and unload freight utilizing forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and other machinery to move products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through AS400 or similar systems, updating stock levels as needed.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Prepare shipping documentation including labels, bills of lading, and customs paperwork when applicable.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes by accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.

Qualifications





- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving roles preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar ERP software.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment; certification is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying quantities.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and shipment processing.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including packaging and loading/unloading procedures.
- Familiarity with e-commerce shipping requirements is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while developing valuable skills in logistics and supply chain management within a energetic environment.

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
