Job Overview

Duties

- Efficiently pick and pack orders using warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accuracy
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes safely to load and unload products
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods during transit
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment when necessary
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to facilitate smooth order picking processes
- Assist in shipping & receiving activities, including inventory checks and documentation
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move products within the warehouse
- Support construction or maintenance tasks related to warehouse operations as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy equipment operation and general warehouse activities





Experience

- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and heavy lifting techniques
- Background in construction or related fields can be beneficial for understanding load handling and safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
