Lead Cohere APIs and SDKs with backend and full-stack engineering expertise. Work remotely or from Cohere offices across global technology hubs. As Engineering Manager, you will guide the team owning inference APIs, SDKs, and the Cohere Dashboard. You will mentor engineers, shape API capabilities, and create unified customer experiences. The role combines technical leadership, product collaboration, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow backend and full-stack engineers
- Participate in model releases and develop API capabilities
- Collaborate with Modelling and Model Serving teams
- Partner with UX designers on dashboard experiences
- Oversee and contribute to open source projects

- Experience managing engineering teams and delivering quality software
- Experience shipping products with many stakeholders
- Experience with Go, Next.js, TypeScript, and React
