Job Overview

Responsibilities

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks when necessary.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products by verifying orders and obtaining signatures upon receipt.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation as needed.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling,



or heavy equipment operation preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for vehicle maintenance needs.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
- Prior experience in logistics or delivery services is advantageous but not required.
