Responsibilities:

- Set up workstation and equipment

- Execute the preparation of ingredients including cutting chopping and measuring recipes according to guidelines provided by the supervisor / manager

- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and established quality standards

- Effectively manage your designated station(s) during service hours ensuring the timely and accurate completion of orders.

- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.

- Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients leftovers and supplies to prevent contamination or spoilage.





- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by communicating effectively with fellow kitchen staff members and maintaining a cooperative attitude.

- Comply with all health and safety regulations including proper handling of knives kitchen utensils and hot equipment.

- Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks to the management.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a prep cook line cook event chef sous chef or chef; demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.

- Prior working experience of minimum 2 years (preferred)

- Ability to stand for extended periods lift objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

- Flexibility to work 1-7 days a week

- Legally Eligible to Work in Canada

Compensation : $18/hr-$22/hr depending on your experience and skill level

Schedule:

Adaptable shifts available 4 8 10 or 12 hours

Morning and evening shifts

Monday to Friday & weekend availability required
