Lead financial reporting and optimization at Air Transat, applying IFRS expertise and strategic leadership across the finance function. This role is based in Quebec.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, the Director serves as a strategic partner and change agent. You will guide financial analysts, improve processes, and transform financial data into insights for decision-making. The position supports airline costs, balance sheet activities, maintenance, capital expenditures, and IFRS 16.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a team of financial analysts
- Oversee accounting activities and internal controls
- Coordinate IFRS 16 provisions for leases and components
- Consolidate statutory and management financial results
- Lead budgeting, planning, analysis, and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

- Required Chartered Skilled Accountant designation
- At least seven years managing personnel in finance
- In-depth IFRS knowledge and practical application
- Experience with large organizations; aviation experience valued
- Fluency in French and English, orally and in writing
