Location:
Remote (Online) Hourly Rate: ≈ £20.00 per hour < Back to Current Jobs Client We are currently working with a Grammar School in the West Midlands to provide supplementary teaching to students most affected by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Role overview The Learners Collective offers a bespoke approach to GCSE and A-level learning through the TLC Tutorial: an intense and stimulating lesson in which you, a single Scholar, lead two students in critical discussion of the subject-material. Students are encouraged to critically engage with each other's ideas and approaches
- all in the context of their GCSE and A-level examinations. The TLC Tutorial allows students to develop a deep understanding of subject-material while developing their own critical thought and individual process of learning. The highly personal and oratory nature of the Tutorial encourages students to find confidence in their own thought and the chance to engage with their peers, as academics, in scholarship.
