Position: Security Supervisor - Retail

City: Niagara Region

Hours: Must be able to work all shifts (days, afternoon, evening, overnights, weekends)

Pay Rate: $22 - $22.71

Job Description:

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the mall premises, patrons, and employees. This will involve supervising the security team and coordinating security activities to mitigate potential security threats. The successful candidate must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

Job Requirements:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License and be in good standing with the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with tenants, employees, and patrons of the mall.
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Must have strong leadership skills to supervise and manage a team of security guards and ensure they are following protocols and procedures.
- Must have knowledge of security equipment, including CCTV systems and access control systems, and be able to operate them effectively.
- Must have knowledge of emergency response protocols and be able to lead and coordinate emergency response efforts.
- Must have knowledge of Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act and be able to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Must have strong analytical skills to identify security risks and develop effective security strategies.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills to resolve security issues quickly and effectively.

Special Minimum Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Able to work ALL shifts (Afternoons, Weekends, Holidays, Nights) Continental shifts
