Registered Dental Hygienist – Part-Time

An established dental practice in Niagara Falls is looking for a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments.
- Assess patients' oral health and identify areas requiring further attention.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive dental care.
- Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Develop individualized hygiene care recommendations based on patient needs.
- Apply fluoride and provide other preventive treatments as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with dentists and other team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain treatment rooms, instruments,



and equipment according to infection prevention and control standards.
- Stay current with dental hygiene practices, techniques, and professional standards.

Qualifications

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative workplace.
- Previous dental hygiene experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital radiography is an asset.
