Fibertechs is a growing contractor in the Utility and Telecom industries. We currently have immediate openings for experienced FTTH, Fiber Jetting, laborer's in the Ottawa and surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) installations and deployments
- Set up and operate cable blowing equipment for fiber jetting in multiduct systems
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and utility locates
- Assist with construction tasks such as digging, grading, and site preparation
- Install multiduct conduit, piping, and associated fibre cable systems
- Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and cable reels
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE
- Work effectively in physically demanding environments, including lifting, digging, and outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Adapt to flexible work schedules,



including days, evenings, and weekends as required
- Collaborate with team members while also working independently when needed
- Follow all company procedures and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience in FTTH, fiber jetting, or underground telecom construction is preferred
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license (clean abstract required)
- AZ or DZ license is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
