An established dental practice in Niagara Falls is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Certified Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient clinical workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
- Assist the dentist with clinical procedures and anticipate instrumentation and treatment needs.
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with HARP certification and applicable regulations.
- Follow established infection prevention and control procedures, including proper instrument sterilization and operatory disinfection.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.




- Build positive relationships with patients through friendly, professional communication.
- Ensure clinical supplies and equipment are organized, maintained, and readily available.
- Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members to support daily operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Certified Dental Assistant with National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) certification.
- HARP certification required.
- Registration and/or certification with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA).
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of dental instrumentation, chairside procedures, and infection prevention and control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
