Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our pizza restaurant's culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pizza preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pizzas and other menu items to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food, including dough, toppings, and sauces, is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the pizza kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor food inventory levels, including pizza ingredients, and assist with ordering supplies as needed.




- Maintain pizza ovens, equipment, and utensils in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques, dough handling, and safety protocols.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a pizza restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for making great pizzas and a desire to learn new culinary skills.
