We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our Edmonton team and help deliver impactful projects in our community.

The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of 30 geotechnical professionals based out of Edmonton, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical professionals.

Your Opportunity

- Cutting-edge Environment: Leverage cutting‑edge tools (UAVs, AI‑integrated solutions) and contribute to Stantec’s Innovation Office and Digital Center of Excellence.

- Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.

- Lead and Deliver Projects: Manage and execute small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, including planning, analysis, reporting, and client communication.

- Technical Leadership: Apply your expertise to complex analyses, mentor junior staff,



and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

- Team Management: Lead and coordinate small project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological or Mining Engineering, or Geology.

- 5–10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services.

- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or eligible for registration
