The Role

We’reon the hunt for a full-time Senior Accountant to become a part of the HGAFamily and add value to our incredible team.



The ideal candidate will take on the positionof trusted liaison between principals, managers, and clients in preparing Compilations,Review and Audit engagements and assume leadership roles on complex files. TheSenior Accountant will report directly to their respective managers andpartners, however, as part of the Senior Accounting team, this individual willbe provided the opportunity to mentor our junior and intermediate-levelaccountants.

Perfect for someone who understandsthe value of customer service, this individual will enjoy working alongside themanagers to support our large range of clients and be equally as invested inwho our clients are as people, as well as their business and the 'numbers'. Ahigh level of accountability and initiative will be key to succeed in thisrole, as well as the ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced professionalservices environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Preparationand review of Compilation, Review, and Audit engagements
- Preparation and review of working paper files for incometax returns for personal, corporate and trust returns
- Assume leadership roles on complex engagements
- Analyzing complex financial reports and records
- Making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves,assets and expenditures
- Performing variance analyses and preparing
