Reporting to the Manager of Mill Operations, the Mill Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the company’s largest and busiest feed manufacturing facility, producing more than 105,000 tonnes annually of pelleted and mash hog feed. This role is accountable for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the mill, including grain and ingredient receiving, feed production, inventory management, shipping, quality control, maintenance coordination, and staff supervision.

The Mill Manager is expected to provide strong day-to-day leadership to a growing and relatively new team by setting clear expectations, building accountability, and fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational discipline.



A key focus of this role is to strengthen team capability through coaching, mentoring, and training, while also identifying and developing future leaders within the operation.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining a world-class site by ensuring high standards in safety, housekeeping, maintenance, and employee engagement. The Mill Manager must also bring a strong maintenance mindset to the operation, helping transition the site toward a more planned and scheduled maintenance approach that improves equipment reliability, reduces downtime, and supports long-term operational success.
