Pay Range: $38.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on certification and experience level A Day in the Life Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
Carry out thorough vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurements
Identify mechanical and electrical issues, recommend solutions, and clearly communicate findings to the Service team
Safely de-energize, isolate, and re-energize high-voltage systems using approved procedures and personal protective equipment
Partner with Service Advisors to provide repair timeline updates and recommend additional safety-related work
Conduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections on new inventory to ensure every vehicle leaves the shop in top condition
Work with the Parts Department to source needed components and manage warranty labelling
Support fellow technicians as needed to help the shop run productively
Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain strict confidentiality of company and customer information
Help foster a supportive, engaging work environment What We’re Looking For Red Seal Certification as an Automotive Service Technician, or currently working toward it
Previous experience as an automotive technician is required A valid BC Driver’s licence and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract are required
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail
Well organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Able to stay calm and focused in a quick-paced environment
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Ability to meet the physical demands of a service technician role, including: Regularly lifting up to 60 pounds
Standing for extended periods A high level of mobility, dexterity, endurance, and sensory awareness Ability to work in an automotive shop environment, including: An indoor shop with multiple service bays
Exposure to noise (engines, air tools), fumes (exhaust, solvents), and dust
Working around moving vehicles, hoists, and heavy equipment
Varying temperatures (the shop may be cooler in winter and warmer in summer, despite heating and ventilation) What We Offer Competitive wages
