As a Technical Lead for Application Development within Global Asset Management Technology, you will lead cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You will design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions while serving as a subject matter expert. The work includes Azure data warehouse integrity, business-aligned architecture, and collaboration with technology and business partners.
Design and maintain the GAM data warehouse on Azure
Coordinate complex solution design and technical documentation
Eight or more years in enterprise data engineering
Expertise with Synapse, Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Medallion architecture
Hands-on Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and Spark SQL
Experience with Azure Data Factory and Python development
Knowledge of Azure SQL, APIs, CI/CD, observability, and security
Bring Azure delivery, data architecture, and technical leadership to CIBC’s Global Asset Management Technology team in Toronto. #
