Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, dependable Barista/Cashier to provide welcoming and effective service in a fast-paced food service environment.

- This role combines customer service, beverage preparation, food handling, and cashiering. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple tasks while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

- Previous barista, serving, food industry, or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Duties

- Greet customers, answer questions, take orders, and provide courteous, accurate service.

- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.

- Assist with food preparation and serve menu items while following food safety and food handling practices.

- Process orders and payments using a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is a plus.

- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, provide receipts, and maintain an orderly register area.

- Use basic math to verify transactions, make change, and support accurate order processing.

- Keep counters, equipment, dining areas,



and workstations clean and stocked.

- Coordinate with team members to manage customer flow and complete orders promptly.

- Follow established procedures for sanitation, food storage, and safe equipment use.

Requirements

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.

- Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.

- Comfort with basic math, cashiering, and cash handling.

- Willingness to learn beverage preparation, food preparation, and food safety procedures.

- Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work collaboratively.

- Barista experience, serving experience, food handling knowledge, or food service experience is an advantage.

- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
