Are you a self managed bookkeper to trial balance with experience working in the Xero accounting programme?

Our Client is growing and requires a new bookkeeper to join their highly successful team to work alongside the Financial Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

- Accounting qualification or mimimum five years experience

- Experience in ownership of accounting records from source to TB

- Self managed individual with valuable communication skills

DUTIES

- Working alongside and reporting into the Financial Manager

- Controlling of financial functions from source transactions to TB

- Assisting with month-end reports for shareholders and Director

- Record supplier invoices, payment runs and creditor reconciliations

- Manager and monitor debtors and overdue accounts

- Month-end journals and accruals

- Prepayments and provisions for various group entities

- Manage and perform balance sheet reconciliations - debtors, creditors, VAT, payroll control, intercompany transactions

- Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, updating of credit card transactions

- VAT201 returns and assist EMP201/EMP501 payroll submissions

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
