Job Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, dependable Cashier to provide efficient checkout service and a welcoming customer experience in a retail setting.

- The role includes processing purchases, answering product questions, maintaining an organized checkout area, and supporting store sales and merchandising.

- Applicants should be comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling cash accurately. Retail experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide attentive, skilled customer service throughout the checkout process.

- Process cash, card, and other transactions accurately using POS systems.

- Handle cash responsibly, provide correct change, and follow established checkout procedures.

- Answer questions about products, promotions, and store policies; direct customers to the appropriate team member when needed.

- Support retail sales by identifying customer needs, recommending relevant products, and using appropriate upselling techniques.

- Assist with technology sales by explaining product features, demonstrating products, and helping customers compare options.

- Maintain attractive product displays, restock merchandise,



and support general merchandising tasks.

- Keep the checkout area clean, orderly, and ready for customers.

- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, including by phone when needed.

- Manage time and priorities effectively during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude.

Skills

- Strong customer service, communication, and phone etiquette.

- Cashiering experience or the ability to learn checkout procedures quickly.

- Confidence with cash handling, basic math, and POS systems.

- Interest or experience in retail sales, sales, merchandising, or upselling.

- Ability to explain product features and conduct product demos; technology sales or technical sales experience is a plus.

- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

- English proficiency required for customer and team communication.

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome and may help serve a diverse customer base.

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
