Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, dependable Cashier/Customer Service team member to create a welcoming shopping experience, process transactions accurately, and help customers find the right products.

- This customer-facing retail role combines cashiering, customer service, and sales. You’ll also support product displays and, when appropriate, demonstrate products and recommend useful add-ons.

- Clear communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment are important. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are welcome.

Duties

- Greet customers, listen to their needs, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service in person and by phone.

- Operate the POS system to process purchases, returns, and other transactions accurately.

- Handle cash and other payment methods responsibly, provide correct change, and follow store procedures for cash handling.

- Use basic math to verify totals, count change, and assist with routine transaction checks.

- Support retail sales by explaining product features, making relevant recommendations, and using thoughtful upselling when it benefits the customer.

- Assist with technology sales by learning product details,



answering common questions, and providing product demos as needed.

- Maintain attractive, orderly displays through merchandising, restocking, and keeping the checkout and sales areas clean.

- Respond to customer calls with professional phone etiquette and direct questions to the appropriate team member when needed.

- Balance multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, courtesy, and attention to detail.

Experience

- Previous cashiering, customer service, retail sales, or other customer-facing experience is helpful.

- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus; training on store products and procedures will be provided.

- Comfortable learning and using POS systems and other basic workplace technology.

- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.

- Able to communicate effectively in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.

- Dependable, attentive to detail, and willing to work collaboratively in a quick-paced retail setting.

Pay: $18.25-$28.94 per hour
