Position: Commercial Lines Account Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented to join our growing insurance brokerage.

The successful candidate will support our Commercial Lines team with day-to-day account servicing, policy administration, remarketing and communication with insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with commercial insurance renewals and remarketing submissions.
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Prepare invoices and assist with billing and payment inquiries.
- Follow up with underwriters regarding quotations, endorsements, renewals and outstanding requests.
- Submit new business applications, policy changes and renewal requests to insurance companies.
- Process endorsements, cancellations and other policy documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records, activities and documentation in Applied EPIC.
- Review policy documents for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
- Assist Commercial Account Managers with daily administrative and servicing tasks.
- Monitor outstanding requests and ensure timely follow-ups.

Qualifications & Requirements




- Minimum 1 year of commercial insurance experience within a Canadian insurance brokerage.
- Experience with Applied EPIC is preferred.
- Good understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverages and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- RIBO licence is an asset but not mandatory.

Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
