PURPOSE: To provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of Concrete Reinforcing Technicians (CRT’s), in-cluding coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.
- Supervise CRT’s, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways to correct de-ficiencies.
- Responsible for continually reassessing drafting techniques and recommending integrated, cost-effec-tive solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of recommended actions.
- Track employee’s progress on assigned work.
- Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments as needed for assigned CRT personnel.
- Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS





· Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalent

· At least 3-5 years of experience as a Senior CRT

· Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience

· Requires thorough knowledge of NRF’s drafting system

· General supervisory skills or supervisory training

· Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities

· Effective verbal and communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

· 2-year technical diploma from an accredited school or college

· Critical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively motivate CRT’s PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Typical office activities

· Walking, sitting, standing, bending

· Using hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipment

· Lifting/handling computers and related equipment

· Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus

· Moderate noise level
