Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety procedures.




- Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes based on seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create delicious meals for guests.
