Overview

We are seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support daily meal service in a care setting. This role helps ensure residents or residents receive meals that are prepared, served, and handled safely, while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, courteous, and able to manage tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen.

Duties

- Prepare dining areas, serve meals, and provide courteous customer service to residents, patients, and visitors.
- Follow dietary instructions and food safety practices when handling, storing, and serving food.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, dining areas, and utensils.
- Support kitchen staff with routine food service tasks and maintain an orderly work area.
- Use time management skills to complete preparation, serving, and cleanup tasks on schedule.




- Communicate respectfully with team members and promptly share relevant meal-service concerns.

Experience

- Food service, food industry, kitchen, food preparation, cooking, serving, or meal preparation experience is helpful.
- Experience with food handling, food safety, cleaning, and sanitation is preferred.
- Customer service experience and strong time management skills are valued.
- Assisted living, nursing home, or hospital experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and maintain a considerate, professional approach in a care environment.

Pay: $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week
