Overview

We are seeking a part time only applicant that is dependable, honest, hard working, dog-loving, fully licensed, driving kennel attendant to help transport and care for dogs in a safe, clean, and fast paced environment. This hands-on role combines driving, kennel support, and positive customer service. The position is paid, and training on workplace procedures will be provided.

Duties

- Safely transport dogs between designated locations, following established routes and handling procedures in all weather conditions.
- Secure animals appropriately for travel and monitor their comfort and safety throughout each trip.
- Assist with feeding, watering, walking, administering meds, poop pick up and supervising dogs at the kennel/on trails.
- Clean and sanitize kennel facility, transport areas, and shared equipment.
- Communicate courteously with customers about drop-offs, pick-ups, and routine service questions, as well as, transactions.
- Support the team with loading supplies and other physical tasks, including heavy lifting when needed.
- Follow animal-care, vehicle-safety, and facility procedures; promptly report concerns about an animal or vehicle.

Experience

- A valid driver’s license and a protected, responsible driving approach are required.




- Prior experience driving for work, caring for animals, or working in a kennel is helpful but not required.
- Good customer service skills, reliability, and clear communication are important.
- Must be comfortable working around dogs of different sizes and temperaments and performing active tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- A patient, attentive, and team-oriented attitude is essential.
- Seeking part time work only and your own reliable transportation a must.
- Must live in the bowl or west side of Prince George (ex; College Heights, Blackwater, Beaverly etc)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
