Role Description As a Fairgrounds Public Racket Club – Experience Creator in Edmonton, you will be responsible for delivering welcoming, memorable experiences for all club visitors and members. This role involves greeting guests, helping them navigate the club, and supporting them in booking courts, equipment, and lessons. You will coordinate and host events, social play sessions, and activations that foster community and encourage participation in racket sports.

Day-to-day tasks include managing check-ins, maintaining a clean and organized club environment, answering questions about programs and services,



and gathering feedback to continuously improve the guest experience. You will collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and embody Fairgrounds’ inclusive and energetic culture.

Qualifications

- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or recreation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events or activities that engage diverse groups of participants.
- Organizational skills to manage bookings, schedules, and basic administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site, including occasional evenings and weekends, and supporting physical tasks related to club operations.
- Interest in racket sports or active lifestyles, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory and welcoming community spaces.
- Reliability, skilled conduct, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience in sports clubs, fitness centers, or community programs is an asset.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools (e.g., scheduling software, email, point-of-sale systems) is beneficial.
