Job Overview The Food Runner/Server supports smooth restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, assisting guests, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming dining setting. This role works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other hospitality team members to ensure accurate orders and attentive guest service.

Duties

- Deliver food and beverages to the correct tables, confirming items match guest orders.

- Assist servers with guest requests, table service, and clearing or resetting tables.

- Communicate order updates, special requests, and potential delays between the kitchen and front of house.

- Support basic food preparation and meal preparation as assigned, following food safety and food handling practices.

- Help keep dining areas, service stations, and workspaces clean and organized.

- Enter or verify orders using a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is helpful.

- Assist with cashiering and cash handling when needed.

- Follow restaurant procedures for safe food storage, sanitation, and handling.

- Provide courteous,



timely customer service and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

- Customer service experience and strong communication skills.

- Food service, restaurant, serving, or kitchen experience preferred.

- Familiarity with food preparation, meal preparation, food handling, food safety, cleaning, or cooking is an asset.

- POS experience preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.

- Cashiering or cash handling experience is helpful.

- Hotel experience, guest services, hospitality, or barista experience is beneficial.

- Ability to work collaboratively, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly with guests and coworkers.

- Dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming service area.

Pay: $15.00-$22.89 per hour
